Testimonials
At CG Partnership, we are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of looked after children. Our commitment to providing personalised, compassionate, and impactful support shines through in everything we do.
But don’t just take our word for it – hear directly from those who have experienced our work first-hand. This section showcases the voices of social workers, and young people who have been part of our journey.
Their stories are a testament to the heart and dedication behind CG Partnership. We hope they inspire you as much as they inspire us every day.
Social Worker:
'Just wanted to say a massive thank you for all the incredible efforts and care both of you and other staff at CG Partnership Ltd continue to provide.
I know that X feels very much at home and has built warming and positive relationships with yourselves and other staff at the placement.
It is evident to see that you take a therapeutic and person centred approach in the work you do with X.
You consistently send me regularly weekly reports to update me on X’s progress and I find this really helpful and the documents are well structured and easy to read and includes all relevant sections.

You were instrumental in enabling X to be enrolled at **FC and allowing them to progress with their ambition to play professional football or potentially have a career in this field. X had expressed that they wanted to play for a football club and you contacted so many clubs and attempted to get X a trial and several clubs were unable to provide X with an opportunity to play and you kept going and X eventually landed a trial with **FC and was successful. You were able to support them in attending the trials and setting this up and your tenacity and diligence in facilitating this has not gone unnoticed.
X’s independent living skills continue to progress well while at their placement. This is no surprise as you have a well designed system in place to support this. I have read through X’s living skills assessments and I am aware of the frequent keyworker sessions supported by staff in supporting X in enhancing their independent skills.
I am aware that X has enjoyed trips to London, trips to the beach, trips to Bournemouth during Christmas and so many other amazing trips organised by CG Partnership Ltd and you have gone out of your way on so many occasions to engage X in various exciting and eye opening activities and I know X is super grateful for this.

I can only commend and praise you for all the support you provide and will continue to provide for X and other young people at CG Partnership Ltd and I think other organisations that provide services similar to CG Partnership Ltd could learn much from how you and your staff manage and care for the young people you work alongside.'

Virtual School Worker:
'I am always amazed at the timely response for young people coming into your care for access to education , mostly within the week they have been assessed and are in college with no delay.

I think that this approach and care is reflected in the excellent attendance and reports that we get from the staff at College and also supported by the extra ESOL session you have sourced outside of college, alongside your support to bring students along to planned activities that we arrange in borough. The students are very blessed to work with such a caring group of professionals .'

Youth Justice Worker:
'Discussions with other social workers, Team Managers, and IROs regarding the continued suitability and good work CG Partnership does always yield unanimously positive agreement.
It is the case that whenever we have a new arrival, we always ask CG Partnership whether they have capacity. This bears testimony to the sterling direct work CG Partnership does, and we all appreciate it.'

Social Worker:
'It is such a shame you have no space as you would be the perfect setting to give X a chance. Balancing this with everyone else’s safety — a fine balance that is so difficult to achieve.'

Social Worker:
'CG Partnership was an established provider known to us and with whom we have worked closely previously to support a very vulnerable young person safely to semi-independence. Therefore, we were extremely grateful when they offered to support X.
Since living in their current home with the support of the team around them, X has made significant progress. X has engaged with the staff and professionals alike. This has been due to the constant, consistent, and warm care that they have received in their home, which has helped them to trust adults again and understand that they are there to support them.
X has had many placements previously, none of which lasted for long and none of which were able to support them in the way they can manage like this one does.'
